The Small Business Tax Indicator is a really helpful feature that ensures the correct tax calculation is applied to your client's financials, income tax returns, and provisional tax returns.
This post will cover:
Completing the Small Business Tax questionnaire
To access the Small Business Tax questionnaire, click on a client record in the Clients table and then on the Small Business Tax tab at the top.

Here you will see a questionnaire not unlike the SARS questionnaire when you complete an income tax return. It will ask you a set of five important questions for each tax year that DataGrows has scheduled a set of financials, corporate tax returns or provisional tax returns. You must answer yes to all five questions in order for the client to show as Qualifies for small business tax, on the applicable tasks. You must answer it for each tax year, as SARS requires us to review it each tax year.

Seeing the status of a task
Once you have answered the questions in the Small Business Tax tab, the corresponding Financials, Corporate tax and Provisional tax tasks will show as Qualifies for small business tax.

If all checkboxes are not checked, a status of Does Not Qualify will pull through to these task tables.
